Our Non-Emergency Medical Transport service provide safe, reliable and personalized transportation for individuals with diverse needs. 

Our team of dedicated professionals ensures that each client receives the highest standard of care, with a focus on timeliness and comfort.

 Our wheelchair transport vehicles feature:

  • A minimum ramp width of 30 inches
  • A 4-point tie-down system plus lap and shoulder belts
  • ADA-Compliant door height
  • ADA-Compliant lighting
  • Non-slip flooring

We provide transport services for people with diverse needs who are ambulatory and may need assistance getting in and out the vehicle.

We accomodate and assist with your special needs – rollators/walkers, clutches, visually impaired, service animals, car seats, dialysis appointments, physical therapy, etc.

*ADA rules require that when transportation is provided for any attendees of a conference or event, wheelchair accessible transportation must be provided for any disabled attendees. 

Texas Rubicund Transport will provide services to meet your ADA obligation for any type of event. We provide wheelchair transportation for weddings, funerals, corporate events and more.

SCHEDULE YOUR RIDE TODAY

Call Texas Rubicund Transport at 832-975-0160 at least two (2) days before your appointment, unless your trip is urgent. If you live in a basic or rural county, call at least three (3) days before your appointment.

We schedule routine trips Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm.

For clients using our services for the first time please call 832-975-0160.

For clients who intend to pay through their insurance please obtain a pre-authorization letter from your private insurance before booking with us.

Most frequent questions and answers

Texas Rubicund Transport provides AMBULANTORY AND WHEELCHAIR transportation service for all our esteemed customers.

We also offer non-emergency transportation for seniors, people with disability, and anyone else who requires a greater level of personal assistance than what is offered by typical car services. 

Our Wheelchair transportation pick-up fee is $45 plus a charge of $3.00 per mile 

Our Ambulatory transportation pick-up fee is $30, plus a charge $2.50 per mile. 

Waiting fee:

$45 per 30 mins for wheelchair service

$25 per 30  mins

(sit and wait may depend on availability)

 

For private insurance, you need to get a pre-authorization letter from your insurer before you book a trip.

In the markets we serve, Medicaid can only be paid through a broker. If you wish to book a Medicaid trip, please contact your local broker.

For all other insurance, you need to present us with a pre-authorize letter from you insurer.

We are constantly expanding our service area, so please always check back with us for the most current information.

Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria

Mondays to Fridays from 6am to 5pm.

First time passengers will need to speak with our team any time from Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. However, our established passengers are welcome to schedule their ride at their own convenience through our website or by phone.

Scheduling a ride for your non-emergency transportation needs is easy! If it’s your first time, give us a call at 8329750160. For existing customers, you can give us a call or book your ride from our website 2 days in advance.

While we do appreciate advanced notice and can better accommodate your schedule if you call in 48 hours in advance, we are certainly happy to accommodate same-day requests whenever possible. Please note that same-day medical transport services are most readily available to patients with flexible travel schedules. For specific travel times, please note that advance reservations are strongly encouraged, as our fleet is often booked several days ahead of time.

We are happy to invite your passenger along for the ride with you.

Please note that we can only accommodate one extra passenger per ride.

Yes we do!

Our assisted transportation services can be used for a wide range of non-medical transport needs. We are thrilled to offer assistance to anyone who needs it, and we can take you anywhere you need to go within our service area.

We completely understand that plans change and do our best to accommodate.

We always appreciate advanced notice. For 24 hours or more notice, there is no charge to change or cancel a trip. We have a $25 charge for cancellations without 24 hour notice. We don’t charge for changes; however, do to a moving schedule, we may not be able to accommodate your changes.

If we dispatch a vehicle and no one shows up (no show), we would charge a no show fee of half the trip cost if it is a return trip and the full cost if it is a one way trip.
